Letter, 1862 Nov. 29 : holograph, to wife Sarah Jane.

Written both sides of lightly ligned paper. Urges his wife to write and send him new gloves. As for his old gloves, "Sombody took thim wone be night whin I was on gard." Letter is signed twice: Johns Martin, and John S. Martin. Most of the spelling is phonetic.
